Field Note #007 - How to Manifest

I was trying to make this as easy as I can, as clear and understandable as possible. Then a sentence I wrote about making your practice your own, nothing has to be perfect. So instead of thinking of a ton of clever and “profound” things to say, I’m typing the thoughts I’ve jotted down in my journal on this topic. I believe life is an endless journey of self-discovery, so this is my reminder to my future self that it’s okay to do things messy, imperfect, scared. Learn from it now, and then do it better. And sometimes, there isn’t a better.

This is not a step by step, just things to keep in mind.

  • I’ve always got what I’ve wanted, which in theory sounds great, but sometimes wasn’t meant for me and THAT is when I learned to trust fate more.

  • You don’t have to leave everything up to fate, you DO have to take action

  • Live in the energy/ give out the energy you want to receive back, live the life you want. Start now and things start to fall in place.

  • Trust yourself. Turn to God, the Universe, your Future Self.

  • Like attracts like, be positive! Don’t have to be all the time, but remember that like + like

  • Sometimes it’ll feel like things are getting worse before they get better, this is a test

  • Leave the old you behind! Not all of you, and you can reinvent yourself every day, every minute

  • Do something that brings you back to you!

  • Environment: surround yourself with things that remind you of your goals, make you happy, etc

  • Self-care: So important! And this looks different for everyone

    • eat well, get movement, get REST, REAL REST

    • YOU DON’T HAVE TO EARN REST

    • REST looks diff in so many ways, but so many of us punish ourselves for it

    • You are your own worst critic (dragon slayer poem)

  • Excuses are your fears, they keep you behind

  • Know what you truly want

    • sometimes it’s a feeling, for me it’s a feeling

  • When you chase while unsure how can you know when you’ve gotten it?

I learned what manifestation means to me. It’s simply being in alignment with your truest self, and living that life fully. We are the only things holding ourselves back.

I hope you get to live the life you choose.

xx Rae
